  • Durag fucking up my scalp!!!

Ight so last night im not gonna lie i felt like i had my durag alittle tight on my head so i loostened it.I wake up this morning it feels like i have fucking knots from the durag what the hell?

Comes from tying it too tight. It probably gave you a VERY small scratch and all the hair products that your durag been soaking in got in through that break causing small pimples. You'll be fine. Don't tie it so tight. The durag I use is WB seamless. The ties are wider and there's more spandex (I assume cuz it's stretchier) in it so it stretches to fit your head better and stretchier ties mean better fitment without being so tight. That's from my experience, anyway. YMMV.

Yeah. I got that once. Never used the "regular" durag for sleeping (it's my shower durag now) since then.

That's true. But if the joint don't stay on your head.. your hair gon get way messed up. I think that's kind of what he was hitting on. But you're right, too. A tight durag does NOT equal tighter waves.

Brush might be too hard. If you have the money, I'd get another brush and save the hard one for when my hair grows out more. If you don't have the money, soak the brush in hot water for about 10mins. It should be softer after that.

A firm brush will be uncomfortable on your head if you have less hair but it should never hurt. Although if you brush too much with it, it will. Some people brush through it (I have before. very painful.). Some get a softer brush or soften the brush they own already (probably the smarter option for the health of your scalp lol).

His brush might be too hard or he is brushing ALOT. I brushed alot with just my medium brush and that bitch had my ears burnt and scalp aching but my head toughened up 3 weeks later and my medium is starting to feel too soft. I got four brushes and my medium Diane is my bitch right now cause it sit right on my scalp and go through my hair...i put her to work like no other. Then my softy is the second used brush follow by my hard and shower brush. Give my hair about 2 more weeks and ill be using my Hard Diane daily like the medium.

If you want your durag to stay on top of your head, you should tie it so its comfortable on your head and add a wave cap on top. If your deep into wolfing you can add two wave caps.

Them dam du-rag been itchin my hair too , that's why I buy wavebuilder stretch cap.
Wolfin the top for 1 year to curl up to help form waves.

Repairing broken skin with a small dent using chemical peel.

Connecting the sides and given it more depth.

I don't need help with my durag staying on. Lol. My joint fits fine. I actually do wave cap then durag.

                          But that's one option, indeed.
